Your lives will be very different and so exciting after your baby arrives! To help the transition and answer all the questions of new parents, Chanin McClurkin, CPNP will make a home
visit during the first days home from the hospital. She will assess your home for safety, observe a breastfeeding session, help you with the first bath, demonstrate cord and circumcison care, and point out your baby's behavior and cues. Parents feel more confident after this visit.

Chanin McClurkin, RN, MSN, CPNP, is a Santa Monica-based pediatric nurse practitioner. Chanin earned her master's degree in pediatric primary care at Vanderbilt University. She has practiced for 8 years and has experience with families of diverse cultural backgrounds, and children of diverse needs. Newborn care and care of the adolescent female are her special interests. Her patients love her holistic, compassionate approach to well child care.
